Dr. Neimat is honored to have been one of Washingtonian Magazine’s Top Doctors for fourteen consecutive years. He has been American board certified in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery since 1974. Dr. Neimat was one of the first surgeons in the region to perform open heart surgery. Now, having performed over 7000 open heart surgeries, He is one of the first in the region to offer The Closure Procedure.
